St. Philip Church

Petrolia began as a mission of Holy Rosary Parish, Wyoming. A church was built and blessed on October 16, 1887. By 1910, Wyoming and Oil Springs became missions of St. Philip Parish. St. Philip Parish absorbed the Wyoming boundaries in 2007 when that parish was canonically suppressed.
